Swimming Trials

What a high standard of swimming! Thirty very keen children trialed for our team and all were absolutely focused as they swam to the best of their ability.

An equally dedicated group of parents timed, organised or admired their children.

Now...having looked closely at the times, a team has been selected by Jenni Jamieson. This group of sixteen children will attend their first training session on Friday 25 March at 7:30a.m. at the Cameron Pool.

The Remuera Zone Swimming Sports is what the swimmers are working towards. The date for this is Tuesday 22 March and the venue is St Kentigern School.

Welcome to 2011 Sport

Friday 18 February is the day of our swimming trials.

Those children who have returned notices indicating their desire to trial will be going to Cameron Pool. We leave school at 9:15 and return at approximately 11a.m.

The children have been advised to put their togs on with their clothes over the top, before school. This will mean we can be organised quickly at the pool. Speedos are recommended for the boys and hair tied back and bathing caps suggested for all. Bringing two towels is also a good idea, one for between races for warmth and the other to dry off at the end.
